UPSALA CIRCUS NIGHT OF MUSEUMS
As part of the 2019 Night of Museums festival in St. Petersburg, Upsala-Circus created a large-scale performance for an audience of 500+ guests. The goal was to design a vibrant, family-oriented experience that would engage both children and adults while remaining artistically strong and visually memorable. I was responsible for the “Fire” block of the program, developing a carnival-style circus procession and leading the costume concept. We approached the performance as a living canvas, a controlled explosion of color and movement. Through bold costume design and dynamic staging, we aimed to translate the feeling of joy, freedom, and celebration into a cohesive visual language. Within just one month of preparation, we created an immersive, high-energy performance that became one of the most dynamic moments of the evening, turning the space into a shared celebration rather than just a show. Planning time: 1 month
