ONE LIGHT PERFORMANCE JAM

ONE LIGHT PERFORMANCE JAM was initiated by CONCON with the goal of creating a shared space for young dancers and theater artists in Tbilisi to connect, experiment, and feel part of one community. At the time, the local dance scene was small and fragmented, and the event was designed as a point of intersection, a place where different styles and artistic voices could meet through movement. As Event Producer and Creative Lead, I developed a two-part format: an open dance jam built around a collective playlist curated by participants, followed by the “One Light” performance section. Each performer had three minutes, one colored spotlight, and a randomly selected track, a minimalistic setup that encouraged risk, presence, and authenticity. We also integrated professional video production to document every performance, giving artists material they could use beyond the event itself. The result was more than just a jam session, it became a meaningful cultural moment for the local scene, strengthening connections within the community while offering the audience a raw, experimental, and emotionally charged performance experience.
